The White Stripes Under Great White Northern Lights

The White Stripes was the first band I´ve ever seen live. I still have the ticket: 31/10/05 Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam, so almost 5 years ago. Since then I've seen Jack White two more times with The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather (with Allison Mosshart, I'm shure she will on this blog soon) Those three performances were amazing because Jack White sings amazing, he plays amazing, he performs amazing, he IS amazing. So that's why we all have to watch this docu about the White Stripes with their Canadian tour in 2007. I think it will be Amazing :)

Sue

This brilliant book written and illustrated by Tim Burton was a present for my birthday two years ago from my sister. It doesn't matter how many times you read the short stories, they always make you smile :) Like this one about Sue.

Shows

I know I'm too late and not by time with posting this, but these 'old' photos are worth to be on this blog. From the top: Hussein Chalayan, Rick Owens, Rad Hourani, Gareth Pugh, V&R. Paris Fashion Week: Fall/Winter 2010. Source: Models.com

Edge of the world

In the new GQ style you'll find this shoot 'Edge of the world' by Chad Pitman featuring Cole Mohr, Luke Worrall, Jethro Cave (son of Nick Cave) and Sophie. They also made a dreamy short film with music of Dead Man's Bones. The song is called Werewolf Heart.

The Lizard King is back

There is a new documentary about The Doors coming out this April. It's called 'When you're strange' and it is narrated by Johnny Depp. I recently saw the movie The Doors again with Val Kilmer playing Jim Morrison, which I think is still amazing. I'm very exited about this one, because it shows a lot of rare material that is never shown before.

Love Models

Today I finally bought the latest issue of Love Magazine. I know everybody is already looking forward to see the next issue, but I just wanted to post a couple of pictures shot by Angelo Pennetta. I Love the ones with Ginta, Lily and Kasia.

Lily in Slow Motion

I found this slow motion video of Lily Donaldson called 'Flying Hair'.
Her hair was styled bij hairstylist Sam McKnight, and the video is shot by Lily's father Matthew Donaldson. He stretched two seconds in two minutes. It looks so simple, but it is so beautiful. Just watch it..

Lizzy Says...

First time I created a blog. For quite a while I collected images and short movies about fashion, models, music, photography and design. I had this idea to make an archive of these inspirations with this blog.
Lizzy says... is born. X
